The Zoomers Gold fins provide an improved foot pocket formulated from soft natural rubber for increased comfort. The short blade encourages shorter, faster kicks for additional propulsion through the water. The Zoomers Gold Fins are an ideal training fin. This fin can be used by all levels of swimming to boost cardiovascular conditioning and accelerate speed during workouts. Fins will train your legs for speed and endurance. The closed heel design creates a soft and secure fit and inhibits hyper-flexion. The fin blade aligns with the natural angle of the foot promoting a proper kick. Ankle flexibility increases the flexibility and range of motion for a more efficient kick. The Zoomers Gold Fins are appropriate for fitness and competitive swimmers. Female users use one size smaller. Fins are available in multiple sizes.

Good, Heavy, Strong Fins, but be careful with Size and Friction
I purchased the Finis Yellow Zoomers Gold to help me strengthen my Swimming Skills and Leg Muscles in the water along with other bits from the same Finis training tools. Based on the reviews that was a good choice and I made the right decision.
Use size chart from box
The fins are great but the size chart in the product description is not very accurate – better to use the chart that comes on the box (see picture).
Fix my form
There is a lot of talk and a lot of products for swimmers to improve technique. Kick boards, hand paddles, snorkel, buoyancy noodles, bungee cords, etc. All of these products help in diffrent ways but can also hinder you if not used carefully. This product makes it easier to stay buoyant while focusing on breathing, arm techinque, etc. I am 5′ 10″ 168 lbs so my lower body immediately sinks. With this product I can float with much less effort and improve technique. In 3 months of swimming almost daily I went from “about to die” after 100 yards to swimming 2200 yards (1.5 miles) in one workout. This product, if not carefully regulated can be a crutch. Put these on and my 25 yard time goes down by avg 8 seconds. Not that fun to swim 25 second lengh only to go to 31-33 seconds with bare feet. I alternate one day with fins 1 day without. That helps. I enjoy my day with them better. I feel like a little fishy. Another little thing worth mentioning is they were rubbing at the base of my great toe nail eroding the skin. I solved that problem by wearing socks with them. I look a bit weird in a white brief cut speedo black socks and yellow fins but its worth it. Kinda
I wear regular socks with them
I was looking for short fins. I’ve started swim laps daily again a few months ago. I was using longer fins, but now I swim at a smaller gym and often I have to share the lane, so I needed a shorter ones.
Great for swimming laps!
I bought these to use in the pool to get more resistance when swimming laps. They are soft and supple, don’t rub my feet, and really help work those leg muscles. The short fin makes them easy to pack in my gym bag. I wear a women’s size 8 wide, have a high arch, and the E fits perfectly.
Caused a blister on my big toe.
I like them, they feel snug but not uncomfortable, unfortunately after wearing them just once I developed a blister on one of my big toes from the rubbing. I had read about this on other posts but went ahead and ordered them regardless. I tried trimming the extra plasticrubber with a new razor blade but that didn’t work well. I then tried smoothing the area in question with a low power soldering iron and the end result was much better (do it slowly). Although I tried them on again the next day, after making the adjustments, and found them feeling better, I will need to wait until my toe fully heals before trying them again to see how well the remedy worked.
Zoomer is my Friend!
I must be honest in saying, beginners beware if you transition from longer fins to Zoomer. I started private lessons about a month ago but have use the Kiefer fins provided. I decided to order my fins and Zoomer Gold was highly suggested by an advance swimmer. I wore them during class for only 2 laps. Practically in a panic state on the deep end I was able to reach the wall then struggled back to the other end. It wasn’t me it was the difference in the fins. Needless to say I switched fins as I really became anxious of the thought of struggling in the deep end again. I told my husband when I got home…I wasn’t ready for the Zoomer’s and paked them away. I was at a crossroads last night as I was determined to continue practicing over the break and went to my gym with my Zoomer’s and OMG…I got one leg workout. My legs are on fire. I immediately called my friend (the advance swimmer) and told her how hard it was …SOOOOOOO HARD! Her words to me “Zoomer is your friend!” “Think Zoomer” “Endurance, strength and speed will eventually come with Zoomer’s” She only began swimming the first time ever this past May and has since participated in an Olympic triathlon. She reminded me this was in part due to Zoomer’s building her strength, speed and endurance for swimming. Zoomer’s definitely gives you one work out. My mantra in the pool “Zoomer is my Friend!”
Zoom zoom down the pool
I can’t live without a pool (I try for it every day)– I wouldn’t be without my zoomers which I’ve been using for over 25 years since I lived in Palo Alto/Sunnyvale area. These are fins designed for pool exercise; they’re rigid and strengthen my muscles, I believe. I have had two knee replacements, so I can’t kick very well and the zoomers help me a lot.
